Kronos Root-Cause Workshop: Understanding the Story Behind the Story
Every person has a story. Every decision has a story. Every behavior has a story.
The Kronos Root-Cause Workshop is a discussion-based educational experience inspired by The Kronos Project, the award-winning novel that explores personal transformation inside a fictional prison. Through storytelling, guided discussion, and structured reflection, participants examine the beliefs, influences, and choices that shape who they become.
Unlike traditional correctional programming, the workshop does not focus on criminal behavior, personal trauma, or the details of incarceration. Participants are never asked to discuss their crimes, disclose sensitive personal experiences, or participate in therapy. Instead, they are encouraged to explore universal questions about identity, accountability, decision-making, and personal growth.
Participants leave with a practical framework for reflection, greater awareness of how beliefs influence behavior, and a deeper understanding of personal responsibility. The workshop helps individuals develop a language for discussing growth, accountability, and future direction.
For correctional institutions, the workshop creates opportunities for meaningful engagement, constructive dialogue, and positive peer influence. By encouraging participants to become more reflective, accountable, and future-focused, the Kronos Root-Cause Workshop contributes to a healthier institutional culture and a safer correctional environment.
Because growth often begins with a simple question:
What is the story behind the story?
Let’s talk.
