The Kronos Briefing Book is our way of sharing who we are and how we think.

Before there was The Kronos Project, Kronos Choices, or Kronos Prison Reads, there were years of prison work, hard conversations, and questions we could not put down.

We have both spent much of our lives around people others often overlook. Inmates. Former inmates. Troubled youth. The homeless. Families. Volunteers. Men and women trying to start again.

Some people call this work criminal justice. For us, it became more personal than that. It is not a job. It is not a project we picked up late in life. It is work that kept calling us back.

The Briefing Book tells the creation story behind Kronos. It explains why we began asking whether prison rehabilitation could address the causes of crime, not just life after prison.

Along the way, another question emerged: What becomes possible when those who have struggled most become part of helping others change?

If these questions interest you, we would be glad to send you a copy of our Briefing Book.

We invite you to continue the conversation with us.
