…Kronos Choices is a short film being developed to invite inmates to think about choices, consequences, and some of the realities that may shape the road to prison.
Every inmate made choices that eventually brought them to prison. But where did those choices begin?
Kronos Choices tells the story of Warden Charlie and inmate 74363. Their lives could hardly be more different. Yet their stories intersect around a simple idea: choices have consequences, and the choices we make today become part of the realities we live tomorrow.
The short film uses story rather than instruction. It does not tell inmates what choices they should make. It invites them to think about the choices they have already made—and perhaps about some of the beliefs, relationships, experiences, and earlier realities that influenced those choices.
That is where Choices connects with Root-Cause Rehabilitation. Looking upstream does not remove responsibility for a choice. It asks another question: What happened before the choice was made? Sometimes a story can ask that question differently than a classroom can.
Kronos Choices is still in development. Interested in seeing where it is going? We are developing a short preview of Kronos Choices.
When completed, we would be glad to send you the preview.
